Please find below, the answers to some very common questions, which I have had from online enquiries and clients, since starting my journey into solution focused hypnotherapy. Can hypnotherapy help with "BURNOUT"

Yes, solution focused hypnotherapy can help you with burnout. The good thing with getting help with burnout, is that I can show you tools that will help you get better now, but also, these tools can help you in the future.

Can hypnotherapy help with menopause

The first thing I do with all of my menopause clients (both peri/post) is advise them to follow online menopause groups or websites , to gain information about what they may be going through. I then advise each client to discuss treatment with their G.P or health advisor. I then offer my services to help with the anxiety, low mood and sometime guilt, which they may be feeling. I offer a discounted rate of £33.00 per session, as the amount of sessions required for each client, can vary quite a bit.

Student rates

I do understand that when you have a child either in school, college or university and they are struggling with anxiety, depression, low mood or even low confidence, solution focused hypnotherapy could help them. I have offered a low rate for these individuals, as I also understand that money can be tight, and they may not yet have their own income, to pay for their sessions. I will require proof of eligibility by either a student card or proof of age, for me to action the discounted rate.

Is hypnotherapy safe

Yes, Solution Focused Hypnotherapy is the safest type of hypnotherapy around. Our sessions together will concentrate on the good things that are in your life. We do not go into the past and stir up old traumas, and make you feel worse than when you started. All sessions are positive and you do feel more positive in yourself after only a few sessions.

 

Hypnotherapy near me

Mostly all of my hypnotherapy work is done online, via Microsoft Teams. So, there is no need to travel to me in Birmingham. I will send you a link to your email and you can use a phone/tablet/laptop/P.C to access the meeting. I do suggest that you use earphones for when we go through the language pattern, as this does help you relax, when you lie back either on your bed or in a comfy chair.

 

What is hypnotherapy

Hypnosis is a changed state of awareness and increased relaxation that allows for improved focus and concentration. It is also called hypnotherapy. Hypnosis usually is done with the guidance of a health care provider using verbal repetition and mental images. During hypnosis, most people feel calm and relaxed. (as per Google search)

I do not use any swinging watches or wave my hands to get you under trance, as I am not a stage act like “Paul Mckenna or Derren Brown”. I simply get you to relax back, and then I read out a language pattern, over some nice relaxing music. You should start to get sleepy, and you may even fall asleep, but don’t worry if you don’t, it may take you a few times to get used to it. When you are

relaxed, your subconscious mind listens to the positive things that I say in the language pattern, and you wake up feeling a bit more positive in yourself.

 

Positive solutions hypnotherapy

Each time we have a solution focused hypnotherapy session, I will ask you a “miracle question”. This will help you think of a solution to one of your problems. You decide which problem you want to get the answer to, I only guide you to the answer.

 

Diploma in clinical hypnotherapy and psychotherapy

Yes, I have qualified as a psychotherapist and have a diploma in clinical hypnotherapy. I studied with the Clifton Practice Hypnotherapy Training School in Birmingham. If you are thinking of getting into this wonderful method of helping people with their mental health, I highly recommend you learn how to become a solution focused hypnotherapist.

 

Personal reflection hypnotherapy

Solution focused hypnotherapy is based around finding solutions to your problems. Whilst you are going through each session, you may reflect on what you have done in your life. The good thing about SFH is that we concentrate on the positive things in your life. We do not dwell on your past, as “you can’t change your past, but you have survived everything from your past”. What we try and do, is help you to make small changes in your life, to make your life more enjoyable and more fulfilled.

Exclusive hypnotherapy

All of the work I do with clients is exclusive and “one to one”, I do not do group sessions. All of your information is handled as per GDPR guidelines/regulations and is not shared with anyone. Our online space/time is held in strict privacy, and anything said in our sessions is never passed on. The only time anything is passed on, (to your G.P) is if I think that you may be in danger of hurting yourself or others. I also make you sign a terms and conditions form, which you give permission to me to do so. This is completed in advance of our first SFH session.

 

Hypnotherapy for needle phobia near me

I do cover most phobias, and they can be resolved via our online session. I carry out what’s known as the rewind and reframe method. It usually takes about 3 sessions to complete the rewind and reframe and can be done for a one-off fee. (please see the “FEES” page for details)

 

Hypnotherapy for trauma near me

There are 3 types of traumas:

1. Acute trauma: This results from a single stressful or dangerous event, such as a car accident or a natural disaster.

2. Chronic trauma: This results from repeated and prolonged exposure to highly stressful events, such as child abuse, bullying, or domestic violence.

3. Complex trauma: This results from exposure to multiple traumatic events that cause severe distress or fear, such as sexual abuse, torture, or chronic abandonment.

 

Solution Focused Hypnotherapy can help you reduce the anxiety surrounding your trauma. This can be done online, via Microsoft Teams, from the comfort of your home.

 

Quit smoking hypnotherapy

Yes, I have performed a number of smoking cessations, with great results. The main thing to note here is, “do you really want to quit smoking enough?”. The first thing I will ask is:

On a scale of 1 to 10 (where 1 is I love smoking and don’t want to quit, and 10 is I’m struggling to breathe, I have a smoker's cough, I don’t have any money to buy cigarettes/vapes and I steal to get them, and I feel like I’m 20 years older than I am).

If you score under 7, then hypnotherapy won’t work for you. You have to be committed into wanting to quit your smoking habit, otherwise you will be wasting your money.
